Great sport!! maybe better if fine tuned. My son
had a great varsity career. over 100 wins. but
wrestled for a team and coach unwilling to argue
horrible ref calls, or not teaching him to suddenly
fake an injury when exhausted or about to
get scored on. Most problems occurred from
depending on some six year old kid to hit ref
with a towel to signify clock, and ref awarding
points clearly after clock and then questioning
terrified six year old about clock at time of points
awarded. Or many times awarding points out of
bounds. Its a shame as hard as these boys train
, that in reality, any close match could still go either
way. Depending on either a Coaches influence
on the ref, poor ref clock management, or
inconsistent scoring to bounds/ point system.
Still an awsome sport from someone who never
imagined how great it could be. Good luck to
all future athletes, and BIG shout out to young
Mr. Springer from Mad Bulls in Norwalk.. Another
star is born..
