I'm not sure if anyone else picked up on how bad the refs were at the ll's. Ive never seen the Danbury coaches get off their chairs so much. A non pin actually got over turned. Lots of booing from the crowds throughout the day. Especially the ref with the tupe. The refs were constantly second guessing each other.. Clueless..
For such a good day of talented wrestlers they should have found some refs to handle it.

Looks like you two should suit up and be part of the solution. You are pretty good at criticizing though. Congrats on that. Now go ahead and tell me how I'm wrong.
Yes i agree thats what i meant, he wasn't calling a clear pin a pin. Calls from refs rarely get overturnrned, but luckily that one did. Also watch a kids legs locked around another kids neck while the refs watched cluelessly. A bunch of other things i saw, so yes hopefully they step it up for the states
Haha I couldn’t agree more! Although that pin being overturned was indeed the correct call. I’ve never seen a kid laying flat on his back for 60+ seconds before not get called a pin. There is absolutely a great picture circulating around of a close up with the new haven kid flat on his back. Maybe someone can post it on here if they have it. I heard that the ref when approached about it was completely clueless that you can indeed pin yourself while in possession. Another big gripe of mine is that they don’t start swiping back points at time of exposure. They wait until they run their (mostly overweight but not all) butts over to get down on the mat before they start swiping. How about you start swiping as you’re Getting into position to look for the fall!!!! I really hope they hold a training/refresher course over this next week for some of these guys before opens.
