TEAMMATE OF THE WEEK

Who stepped up to help their team? It may have been the person who wrestled up two weight brackets and held on to only lose by a decision or the wrestler who faced other obstacles but still went out on the mat to help their team in a dual or tournament. It may be the young inexperienced wrestler who battled fiercely against an accomplished veteran. It may be a wrestler who does not even make the starting lineup but relentlessly gives his best effort in practice to help his teammates improve. Sometimes the most impressive performances or efforts do not result in a trophy or even a win. I propose this as a topic for discussion because their are many wrestlers who may not realize that although the scoreboard does not show a win, they showed amazing toughness and courage to help their team. Please share some examples for these competitors deserve recognition and encouragement.
