Instead of separate division posts, this season we will try just two main boards, this will be for any/all Connecticut rankings. Weight changes won't be updated until the first week of the season when the wrestling capsules are reported.

@220, Class LL
It's a bit thin this year. Neither Ryan Canavan, Ridgefield and Jayden Boursiquot, NFA are on their team rosters and do not appear to be wrestling this year. They should both be removed from the rankings. Rosters can be checked at http://www.casciac.org/rosters/. That only leaves two names @220 for Class LL.
A couple other names to consider adding are Jamal Morris, Westhill (pinned Andrew Anglace in 0:50, who is currently ranked #6 in class LL). Morris has also beaten the McMahon, Trumbull and Stamford #220 wrestlers.
Another name to consider is Andrew Diaz, took 5th at the Agawam Tomkiel tournament and has defeated the Conard and Manchester wrestlers. Just another name so there is more to look for with results. Not sure if either of these wrestlers are top 6, but the weight needs a few more names.
If I see any others to watch in Class LL, i'll post.
Took 3rd at Plainville. 1 loss (Chris Gens)
Does Chris Genz have any losses so far?
Yeah same at 106 Travis beat Bryce 11-0 in new milford tourney but he is ranked higher.
How is Cooper Flemming ranked higher then Sam Kury, when Kury beat him in Class Finals, and in opens. Kury beat him three times last year.
Noah Caskey is going 132, not 138
Few could go up a slot or down a slot but its early and it looks good. Thanks for updating.
More 220 updates: In class M:
East Haven Sr. Justin Fonancier won Plainville and should be number 3 behind Cote and Zalewski.
I believe Sainville is wrestling 195 this year for Stratford.
Unranked Avon Sophomore Chris Gens pinned #1 LL/#2 overall I. Jiminian on Wednesday night (upset of year so far?) And pinned (then #6 LL Diaz week before).
Joel Barlow and New London also have tough 220s this year to keep an eye on.
Mastrioni is 126 for the season. Kosman certed and will most likely be 113 and trelli 120
LL and L have been completely redone just now. Check that out, hopefully it's better and let me know if anything is missing. Currently working on S and M
You can't go by dual weights, wrestlers get bumped up all the time especially on smaller teams, and without the 2lb. allowance I'm sure some of them are wrestling 2 weights above what they'll wrestle for states. Not to mention the kids in the rankings that aren't even wrestling this year.
X2 Blastdouble is right on. I would go by tournament weights over dual meets until after the kids get the 2lb growth allowance.
the weight classes and ranking for the majority of the kids posted are wrong, this sight is becoming irrelevant
You need to remove Dylan Sousa, Xavier, from 152, Class L and he's a Junior not a sophomore. Ronan Marino, Xavier sophomore, is at 126, not 106.
Class L: Xavier, 182, Jeffrey Miller transferred out and Dylan Sousa is at 182. Ryan Devivo for Xavier is 170.
Matt Jenkins of HK (unranked) defeated Michelangelo Bolorin of Wethersfield (HM) by decision at the Battle At Wethersfield. Seb Stultz of Windham also wrestled at 132 this past week, not 138
Class S - 220 pounds:
#3 @220 Johnny Falco (Griswold) wrestled @195 in the Lancer Invitational. Lost to #5 @195 Joseph Reil (Lyman/Windham Tech) by fall.
#5 @220 John Vignone (Coventry) wrestled @ 195 vs. NFA
#6 @220 Matthew Oliwa (Derby) beat #4 @220 Ben Falivene (Valley Regional) by pin fall in the Derby Invitational.
Class L - 220 pounds
@220: Muhil Saravana of Farmington (unranked) defeated Andrew Anglace of Pomperaug (ranked #5) by decision (6-3) at the Mike O'Keefe Tournament on 12/16.
Dakota Grover of Fitch wrestled @220 at the Guilford Invitational (took 1st). I noticed he wrestled @285 in their opening dual vs. Bernard/Norwich Tech. Does anyone know what weight he intends to settle into this year?
Hidekel Mangual of Bristol Eastern wrestled @285 in their opening dual vs. Southington. Not 100% sure if he intends to stay there or drop to 220 (his prior year weight).
Collin Malloy of Xavier wrestled @195 at the Guilford Invitational (took 2nd).
I did not see any other changes for 220 from week 1 results.
Klyde Auba (ranked #3 @220) has transferred to Hamden Hall, no longer attends Notre Dame-FF. It does not look like he is currently wrestling for Hamden hall either (from the Derby Invitational results).
How can Jarod Kosman be ranked above Chris Trelli at 106 for Overall STATE, but Trelli be on the Pound for Pound List and Jarod isn't?
Maybe not updated yet.
