    FCIAC Tourney

Should be a good one. 3 of top 5 teams going head to head. Danbury should win but you never know. individually who you got for the titles. My predictions below; going to be some potentially exciting finals at 106, 120, 132, 138, 152, 182 and 195. Potential semi-final at 126 between Smart and Ebert and at 120

    106: Longo Trumbull

    113: Longo Trumbull

    120: Ryan Trumbull

    126: Jack Danbury

    132: Parrot Westhill

    138: Mastroianni, New Canaan

    145: Sung New Canaan

    152: Zuckerman Warde

    160: Sibbet New Canaan

    170: Keppler Ridgefield

    182: Nanai Greenwich

    195: Gjanij Warde

    220: Harrington Staples

    285: Agosto Danbury

Should be a great tourney based on some of those potential matchups in the semi's too.

I think it's 50/50 as they are top 2 guys in the state at 132. I can see it going either way. Not sure they have ever wrestled.

Kyle is a damn good physical wrestler, Chase definitely has a bigger gas tank. I wouldn’t count Chase out by any means! If he wrestles well and avoids kyles intensity and strong half he could come out on top.

I think Palmieri gets the win at 182 personally! Just a hunch!

Based off of those predictions, the top 3 teams are looking at 2/3 champs each.

Which ever team can push the most to the finals is going to have the a big advantage because they avoid beating each other up in the wrestle backs. A semi finalist loser could easily drop down to 5/6th in this tournament costing the team big points.

Prior to seeds i see the finalist count at:

    Warde: 5 - possible 6

    Trumbull: 5

    Danbury: 6 possible 8

Seeding is going to play a big part in this tournament... and then of course the good ol' saying of "wrestle backs win tournaments"

The other thing to consider is the amount of wrestlers who will score little to no points on these teams. I see that count at:

    Warde: 2/3

    Tumble: 3/4

    Danbury: 2

This tournament is usually tougher for Danbury to win than say LL because the lack of depth in the field allows Warde/Trumbull to keep it close. Warde has the best chance of taking out Danbury in my opinion.

Safe to say the Warde didn’t show up This weekend Tournament is over after the semi finals. Trumbull has a solid hold of second place right now, Warde has 9 wrestling back and night be able to close the gap.
