Pool wrestling, 5 matches. Spartan Challenge-Individual Tournament, 3 matches. *Entry: Spartan Duals-$700.00 per team. Entry fee includes: Spartan Duals-19 wrestlers (15 starters, 4 reserves) teams will each receive 2 corner passes. A $40 Fee per person is due if you are not on a team roster and want to be a free agent. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required in order to confirm your team’s spot. Any balance must be paid before weighing in. Spartan Individual Challenge-$30 per competitor. Please register online at https://www.nuwaywrestling.com/greekwar. *Weight Classes: Spartan Duals-High School: 99, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220 and 285. No allowances. K-8: 56, 63, 67, 73, 77, 83, 87, 93, 97, 103, 107, 115, 125, 135, 150, HWT (200 Max). No allowances. Spartan Challenge-Madison weights. Period Length: HS- 1:30- 1:30-1:30 & College out of bounds rules. K8- 1:30-1-1. Both age groups, OT is 1 minute of overtime followed by 30-second ride out if necessary. *Weigh-ins: Spartan Duals-6pm-8pm Friday May 1st at the Spartan Arena. This is a dual-meet event; therefore, please weigh in as a team. Any balance must be paid prior to weighing in. Your roster must be present at weigh in. Wrestlers who cannot make Friday’s weigh in, can weigh in Saturday Morning 7am-8am. Once your roster is turned in, it is final. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 9am. Spartan Challenge-7:00-8:00 am weigh-ins on May 3rd at the Spartan Arena. All competitors must weigh in on Sunday regardless if they competed in the dual the day before. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 9am. *Rosters: Spartan Duals-Starting wrestlers with 4 alternates and 2 corner representatives. Teams can add wrestlers to their roster at weigh-ins from the free agent pool if they need to fill open weight classes. No team jumping. Wrestlers in grades 7-12 are eligible for the high school division and grades 1-8 for the youth division. 7th & 8th graders are allowed to wrestle on both rosters. Graduating seniors are also eligible to compete. *Pools: Spartan Duals-Elite & Gold divisions. Teams will be allowed to enter any division, however in the competitive interest of the tournament or due to the number of entries at certain divisions, the tournament director reserves the right to move teams or combine divisions. Exhibitions between rounds are encouraged. Every round must start on time. *Awards: Spartan Duals-Team Banner and T-shirts for each pool winner and trophy for each runner up.
