Public access to CIAC up to date wrestling records

    in General Discussion

It is my understanding that coaches have to turn in wrestling results as soon as possible after each tournament or duals competition, and that the state keeps an ongoing database of the results. Are there any good reasons why the public should not have access to wrestlers up to date team and individual results?

    That would be helpful.

Schools are supposed to report team scores. In CT, there is currently no requirement about recording all individual results. Other states mandate this (such as RI via Trackwrestling), and it is only a matter of time before CT implements a similar requirement, either via TW, Flo or a ciac database.

It should be mandatory ! It's a shame that some coaches are just too lazy or incompetent to turn in results..
