    Surprises this year

    in General Discussion

Who are some wrestlers who exceed expectations or surprised you this year?

I would say my top 3 are Hunter Adams, Eli Cyr, Peter Coniglio.

Great Call on Coniglio. Coach Peil always has his kids peaking at the right time of the year. Coniglio and Lindner getting on the podium at opens was impressive.

Another that comes to mind is Folino, CT2 and NE2 when he was HM all year at best in the rankings.

I think O'dell getting on the podium at NE's was exceeded expectations by many. Took out the CT2 in the blood round to make the podium.

Shaugnessy went from HM in the rankings to CT3 at opens and 5th at New Englands which also was a big turn around.

Most Surprising, Eli Cyr dominate season , Drew Currier 3 at NE beat Longo , (pretty sure those two cyr and currier trained together in the off-season), Folino. Folino dominated Ebert at NE.
