I had attempted them last year, a lot of people seemed to disagree so maybe I'll do a thread and we can discuss. Thanks for suggesting

Based on the rankings (my rankings), class L looks as follows:
Team Ranked Points
1 Bristol Eastern 10 99
2 Simsbury 11 91
3 Wethersfield 8 81
4 Xavier 6 66
5 New Canaan 5 63
That's using 16,12, 9, 7, 5, 3 with no bonus point considerations based on the current rankings just updated for Class L. Simsbury has a lot of very impressive freshman that may move up after they have a few more results under their belts.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. Guilford is at home though for Class M and I thought they showed well this past weekend. The three Devito kids should all score, and Garcia may win 113 if the cut doesn't burn him out like last year.
Thanks Scott...I wasn't quite sure how to handicap S this year.

Losing Santino to injury hurts Guilford, he would have done well this year. Agreed, Garcia can win it all if he stays healthy and on weight. He is very good. All the Devito's are tough as nails, and don't forget Roa... He could also win his weight at States, and will win most duals. The thing about East Haven is they have no real holes. They are solid at every weight, with two hammers (Garcia, Roa), and Three brothers who are going to win on most nights. Guilford on the other hand does have holes.
Another one for M's is Avon is looking pretty good. Abbott tech seems to have a few good kids too. I think M, and L got better this year, and LL and S took a step back.
For L's New Caanan is probably over rated. They have 4-5 (2 Elite) kids, but overall they have holes. Better Tourney team than dual.

@Matratohboy Barlow a lot like New Canaan with 4-5 guys, with one elite. I was looking at potential class tourney results. I don't think I have a good handle on dual teams.

Class M – I’d put Ledyard in the Top 5. Tournament-wise, they already placed ahead of Guilford at their tournament. We will see Ledyard in Duals/Duels against Foran (12-28), Guilford (1-11) and Branford (1-19) to get a better reference as to how they stack up as a Dual/Duel Meet team. After last year’s very “Un-Ledyard Like” season, the Colonels should do markedly better this year. I figure the top 5 at the Class M tournament will be (NOT IN ORDER); Killingly, Ledyard, Foran, Guilford and East Haven. The teams that might add to the excitement in the top 5 race are Waterford and Branford. Branford’s youth and Middle School programs have had a lot of wrestlers on the mat the last few years.

Given the results I've seen so far I'd say
