    Warde vs. Danbury

    in General Discussion

1 vs 3 and no one has mentioned this dual at all!? Am I the only one that thinks Warde has a shot at pulling off the upset, or at least keeping this dual close?

I see it 8 matches to 6 for the Hatters, but Warde might be able to pick up more bonus wins. We could see a potential Ebert/Jack match but I have a feeling Warde my try to avoid that match up. 113 is intriguing to me, Coleman has had a solid season and may be able to keep it really close with O’dell, but I do think O’dell will be able to score on his leg attacks.

Warde could legitimately win at 145-195. That would require Ebert to wrestle at 145, and for them to raddle off 6 straight wins which wouldnt be easy. A run like that paired with a win at 106 and we could see an upset in the making. Anyone have some final thoughts before the dual tonight?

So funny you posted this, it’s been on my agenda to do the same thing today. so I was talking to someone from Danbury the other day , and said after now facing both Danbury, and Warde head to head, I think Warde was a stronger team top to bottom. Warde‘s weak points are 106 ,126, and heavy weight(rookie). Danbury being weak at 106 I think this match goes to Warde. 113 is going to be interesting and really wish I could make it just to see this match. 120 is a toss up in my eyes depending On who D throws out. 126 is +6 for Danbury,132 toss up ,138 Danbury if Ryan wrestles,if not it’s +4-6 Warde. 145 is where it starts to get hairy over these next few weights. 145,52,60,70 I honestly think Warde can pull more than 50% of those. you know more detail about the Danbury kids at that weight than I do @Run.the.Pipes so I’m interested to get your opinion. I think after 80 it gets favorable to Danbury again. Really depends on what Shook does as far as bumping the 152,160 ,170 spots maybe Camacho goes 70 and Jaylen goes 60? Are you going to go?

I'll be surprised if Coleman is competitive with O'Dell this year. O'Dell is so much bigger, and can match or exceed the speed and athleticism of Coleman. Warde needs to win 106 to have a shot here. Clear advantage at 120 for Danbury. Cruvivel has improved a lot, but there's too much experience and depth at that spot for Danbury. I see matches splitting 7-7, and it comes down to bonus points.

    106 - Brenehy (FW)

    113 - O'Dell (Dan)

    120 - Pina (Dan)

    126 - Johnson (Dan)

    132 - Cuoco (FW)

    138 - Jack (Dan)

    145 - Ebert (FW)

    152 - Shaughnessy (FW)

    160 - Sanchez (FW)

    170 - Rasmussen (FW)

    182- Summers (FW)

    195 - S. Donovan (Dan)

    220 - DJ Donovan (Dan)

    285 - Agosto (Dan)

The key to tonight’s matches are 132, 160, 182, 195. Who wins these toss up matches will win the dual. The other weights have clear favorites.

the only advantage I see Coleman having here is that he used to beat up on O’dell back in the day. If Kai can mentally get passed that and open up then he should be fine. I watched Kai wrestle Grabinski and saw Coleman wrestle him also, and Coleman looked much more dominant.Coleman used to be a really good wrestler and it appears he’s knocking the rust off nicely.

man another Danbury blow out. they seem to win all the swing matches in these big duals. Great performances by o’dell,Lucas, hawkins, Jones and Sean Donovan. 11 matches to 3. I said it earlier in the year, Danbury is a bit better up top then most thought. this team might be able to send 13 to opens
