    120 ranking

    Jack Ryan is undefeated and wrestling at a level which no one in the 120 class can compete with right now in my opinion for what it’s worth. unless There is someone hiding not on the ranking board it’s my opinion he wins his first open at 120 this year. He has really made incredible gains in the last year.

    I think he's ranked too low also, but who has he beaten? Just asking because I don't know. He beat an injuerd Ebert is the only one I know.

    @abdoshaban Hey Coach, who was the wrestler from Maloney that B Smart wrestled? I didn't know his name.

    Yes he did beat Eibert who injured himself to avoid being put to his back and or pinned. Yesterday he pinned a kid from a Massachusetts team that Ty Finn beat by either 2 or 3 I believe. I’m just saying he is wrestling aggressive and technically sound. He will have a few good matches in the upcoming weeks to prove it i guess.

    I think this class is a 3 man race to the end with Johnson, White and Ryan. Ty Finn and Parker Sutton both lost to Braedon O'Brien, who lost to White in Danbury and had a tough time with Terry Brannigan from Staples. I don't think White and Ryan wrestled yet, but I know Johnson and he have. Bottom line is that he is definitely ranked too low and may very well be the best one. But I think those 3 are the ones to beat, especially with Cyr going to 115.

    White looked very good at the Warde tourney. Sam has always been legit, and I think this will be his year.... However, everyone listed is in the mix for sure.

    120 seems very deep this year

    Has anyone on this site gotten less respect with a class championship and numerous big wins than Braedon O'Brien? Garcia, Parker Sutton, Dave Charron, 2 wins over Brannigan, Finn.

    Agreed ! He looked really good at Ellis Tech on Saturday. He bumped up and wrestled rondini from platt at 126 and beat him 9-2. 120 is very deep there are several kids that can win it.

    If he's beaten all that you mentioned he should be ranked higher ?

    I went back through the tournaments and I didn't see a result over Finn. I think it must have been something I read here. Nothing listed in the FloArena history either. All the others I can confirm.

    I said something because there was a comment about him not looking good vs Brannigan, but the fact of the matter is he beat Brannigan twice in that same tournament to finish third to Tyler Johnson and Sam White at Danbury. Tyler Johnson could possibly be the most improved wrestler this year along with Eli Cyr in all of Connecticut.

    I think I said he beat Finn. Someone told me in Danbury during the Holiday Tournament. Sorry about that. Should know better. He's a great wrestler, and deserves a ton of credit. I just think 113, 120, 132 and 138 are going to be so fun this year in the post season. This state has some really good wrestlers, man.

    Sam Bergin at 160 for Opens. Not showing up at all on state rankings now. Eamon Tolland-Matos at 132. Coming down from 145 where he was a returning Open qualifier. Lost to Fields 4-3 at Danbury. Hunter Adams at 152. Carson LiCastri at 182, not a huge dark horse, but that's a tough bracket. I think Mairano has a much tougher path than Bergin. That's a rock solid top 5 at 132.

    Rumor that Mairano is dropping to 126 because Pera has been out with an injury and there is no timetable for coming back.

    @chuck Ouch. 126 is a vipers nest.

    He lost to David Charon and Shabazz pretty handily. I agree he’s ranked too high.
