Great sport!! maybe better if fine tuned. My sonhad a great varsity career. over 100 wins. but wrestled for a team and coach unwilling to arguehorrible ref calls, or not teaching him to suddenlyfake an injury when exhausted or about toget scored on. Most problems occurred fromdepending on some six year old kid to hit refwith a towel to signify clock, and ref awardingpoints clearly after clock and then questioningterrified six year old about clock at time of pointsawarded. Or many times awarding points out ofbounds. Its a shame as hard as these boys train, that in reality, any close match could still go eitherway. Depending on either a Coaches influenceon the ref, poor ref clock management, or inconsistent scoring to bounds/ point system. Still an awsome sport from someone who neverimagined how great it could be. Good luck to all future athletes, and BIG shout out to young Mr. Springer from Mad Bulls in Norwalk.. Anotherstar is born..
