There were some incredible matches at LL this year! Constant action with many matches ending extremely close, and a lot of late third period decisions.
Also Thank you for putting in the time and effort. I know a few of you update rankings now. But when one updates class do they have the authority to change opens simultaneously? It looks a little silly when you update the class and the opens stays the same. Also P4P. Thanks.
I have not given the other two helping me access to opens, which was my mistake. Next year I plan on using a different format which should make it easier to update and more efficient
Agreed Seaton Beat Keppler Twice. At the Ridgefield Challenge Keppler was Injured during the Finals match with Seaton, First shot, That's why he didn't compete well in the Fciac's.
In 170 weight, watch out for Andrew Seaton of Amity. His only loss in LL's was against Southington and has only lost against #1 or #2's the rest of the year. Key victories against Foran, 3rd place in stacked SCC Championship and he won the Shelton and Ridgefield Challenges. He has beat Keppler, ranked above him, TWICE.
I think DeWinter (Greenwich) should also get some love in LLs 113. I saw he beat Knight from Danbury last night as well as Quiles and Cruvivel (both rated) in the last couple of weeks.
Yeah I agree with that. From what I saw his only losses were to Brannigan from staples which was most likely at 120,Mike Longo , and Zachary Johns. Flo showed two wins over knight both by fall.
I think Elliot Hall (Manchester) should be added to 126, he has beaten a lot of good kids, and his losses have only come from really elite wrestlers, he has a lot of potential to make some noise in LL
Logan Smith has earned the right to be in that group probably ahead of Currier, although Drew absolutely should be top 4 after he dropped down. Has Smith lost this year? He has a win over Garcia and Dan Charron as well.
Currier should be ranked #2 and open rankings should be adjusted as well at 113. Tough call on them but yesterday Currier beat Cyr in the semi finals and then lost to Longo in the finals. Those 3 are a solid 1,2,3 in that bracket. In my opinion I would say 1) Longo 2) Currier 3) Cyr but all 3 are very close together.
Currier (Hall) looks like he will be at 113. He won New Milford last weekend at 113 and beat Cyr and Sutton at Southington yesterday. He lost to Longo in the final.
106-120 look sound , but one I noticed was at 126. How is a freshmen who hasn’t won head to head against smart ahead of him when Smart has the same record? I think that needs to be earned in my opinion, Smart is a very good wrestler with the potential to Pin anyone at anytime including RJ. Now am I saying Smart is going to beat RJ no I’m not but if any wrestler in the class had a chance to it would be Smart! The kid has the best damn headlock I’ve ever seen and has defeated many wrestlers ranked higher than he was in the past 4 years. Don’t sit on this kid! Eibert is a great wrestler as well but let’s wait until after FCIAC to determine if a freshmen should be above a senior.

Also, Weiner is 1-1 vs Failviene (Valley regional)
FYI, Matt Weiner (Shelton Heavy) has pinned Rizzy (Staples) twice (Weiner is 2-0 vs Rizzy, 1/5 & 1/12).

i think Burnett 220 from New Britain should be put in the mix. Beat Vecchio twice.

What happened to Calo from Southington? Is he out for the season?
Seems spot on, will update tonight.
