I agree Staples has stepped up in the last few years. Wondering if they have had a youth program to help them out? Anyone know? I know they used to have one, but I do not know if it is still active. Hard to compete with these big FCIAC schools without good feeder programs. Schools like Danbury and Warde year in and year out get most kids from the youth wrestling. Norwalk/McMahon is starting to slowly benefit from strong youth program.

Looks like McNeary for Barlow is fine as he wrestled on Wednesday, but I see that Prather did not wrestle on wednesday and not in the brackets to wrestle at the Jonathan Law invite tomorrow.

I saw on Floarena that McNeary had a Medical Forfeit in his last match at Eagle classic (placed 4th). Do not know though if he is currently injured.

Just curious. During seeding for conference and states do they just look at overall wins? Or do they dig deeper to see if win was from pin, decision or Forfeit of some kind?

James Moffet (Bethel) has been wrestling 152 most of the season

How is Louis Stabile from Brookfield 138 in the rankings? He has been wrestling 145 the whole season so far.

Licastri did not wrestle last night...had crutches. Don't know extent of injury. From video I saw I think its his knee but don't hold me to that. Hoping for his speedy recovery. He's an outstanding wrestler.

Wassink wrestled last night at Weston and weighed in closer to 160 than 152. He wrestled 160

New Milford Wrestling Tournament is cancelled.

Will this tournament and the New Milford Tourney get postponed until Sunday if snows too much tomorrow?

@Run.the.Pipes I beg to differ about Barlow. They have a significant scorer at 152 in Alex Klein- Wassink and 170 with McNeary.

Yep. He doesn't care. He is def. trying to fly under the radar though.

Yes I have noticed that, but that could be that many teams may not have a 106 so he wrestles up to have a match. I predicts he competes at 106 for SWC & States.

I'm thinking they could even go the other way with Wassink at 145 and NcNeary at 170.

@Matratohboy saw McNeary (Barlow) wrestled Colman Doucette (New Fairfield) at 170 and beat him 10-4, he was in total control of the match. Might change that #1 ranking at 170 for Class M.
