I would like to nominate Tyler Sung (New Canaan) for WOTY with his comeback from knee surgery and the passing of his mother shows not only overcoming physical issues but emotional hurdles to conquer. Such a individual truly must have a heart of a true champion, steel fortitude and a undying will to to fight on not only on the mat but in all things in life. With that being said Sung is the clear choice.

Lytle is the real deal been wrestling all his life. Expect big things from him hes only a sophomore.

At the Open 132 ranks I fail to see how Coniglio rates a 3 spot just returning. Gotta beat somebody first in my opinion. Lets compare shall we Devin Matthews was in 3rd but now 4th he is undefeated 30-0 every win by Tech or Pin he's won the Pawling Invitational in NY, the Chris Hernandez Memorial Wrestling Tournament in Yonkers NY, the MT. Anthony Tournament in VT and most recently the Portland Tournament in CT. So I fail to see a comparison at this time.

152 open ranks Mazur needs removal if he isnt active. Kyle Matthews should be #2 on ranking with removal of Mazur hes already beaten Maleryn (RHAM) and Justin Marshal although good should be 3rd I just dont see him above Matthews.

I agree Matthews ( Gilbert) 132 needs open rank as placing last year and curently undefeated. Hard to rank some gilbert kids as most of there tournaments have all be out of state. Thus far 2 new york and 1 Vermont tourney with 2 mass tourneys to go as

Looking at 152 open ranking there needs to be a correction. Kyle Matthews (Gilbert) already beat Rodriges-Rivera from (Windam) as such should be ranked above him.

I agree P4P should not be touched. Class ranks need to reflect current wrestlers that are active. No one is advocating for removing people every week for a injury lol what I think we are saying if you go a period of time say 3 to 4 weeks with no activity then a removal or a drop in ranking is merited. As far as Sung or Adams no one is trying to take anything away from those to phenomenal wrestlers but with no activity yet I believe once again Class should reflect what is happening currently and is relevant to this moment in time. So with that P4P and I think Open should reflect our best wrestlers. Should the time come when they are verified to be out for the entire season then removal from Open ranks seems fitting while leaving P4P as is.

Sung is out with a knee injury and it appears Adam's is out due to being academically ineligible. Until when and if if they return they should be removed from rankings till such time.

Sung tore something in his knee hope he gets better but i would cast some doubt on returning this year. Hopefully he rests up and heads off to college no need to risk injury coming back to early when his ride to Lehigh is on the line.

Would not be shocked to see Adams at 170. Looked pretty solid at 170 preseason.

Devon Matthews will take 138 this year along with his brother Kyle returning at 152 to take that class. Also a returning wrestler for Gilbert the Matthews cousin Connor Blay was out for sometime will take 160 class S hands down. So these three should help to boost Gilbert.
